Styling

Lightweight and versatile, it can be styled over a T-shirt or a dress, or worn as a relaxed alternative to a blazer.

About This Piece

  • Era: Mid-20th century vintage
  • Origin: Japan

A vibrant kimono in deep green, scattered with yellow-green and orange flowering plants. The lining is decorated with small Jizo figures and childlike warabe characters. Jizo have long been cherished as guardian deities of children, protectors of safe travel, and wardens against misfortune. Haori linings also carry a tradition of "hidden elegance" — while the outer fabric stays understated, the lining often features stylish patterns or auspicious motifs. Charming warabe designs like these are said to have been used as a chic touch expressing the wish to "invite good fortune," as well as warmth and playfulness.

  • Body Width (laid flat): 60 cm / 23.6 in — generous, open-front silhouette

Fit Guide

Designed to be worn open over your outfit, this haori comfortably accommodates Women's US Size S–L (EU 36–42 / UK 8–14). The traditional Japanese silhouette drapes more loosely on smaller frames and more fitted on taller frames.

Note: Kimono-style garments are not designed to fit the body closely like Western clothing, so the size range is approximate. Refer to the measurements above for precision.
